I am the youngest person ever to be given a heart pacemaker, but I can’t say the same for my family.
My father was diagnosed with acute ischemic attack (AI) three years ago, after a fight with lung cancer, and it was clear that my life would be very different from the one he envisioned.
His heart had to be taken out for surgery.
I was left with only one option: take a new one.
In my case, it meant I had to go to the hospital for three months.
My father had never heard of a defibrillator, but after learning about the device from my sister-in-law, I decided to take the plunge.
It was my last hope of saving my father’s life.
I was shocked to discover how much time had passed since my father was taken to hospital.
After his operation, I had been kept awake for more than five hours, and I was not allowed to do any more physical work or do any chores.
For weeks I had barely touched a computer or a phone.
My mother had a heart-rate monitor on her phone but was not connected to any network, so I was forced to go back and forth between her house and the hospital.
My brother and I were in the middle of preparing a wedding.
After we left for a few days, I found myself on my own, and the shock of losing my dad had set in.
I started to worry about how I would be able to repay the family if he died.
I started thinking about what kind of money I would have to give them to pay the hospital bills.
I decided that I would need to pay a hospital loan.
I thought about the doctors who were not even familiar with the device.
I thought about my father, and how much it would mean to him.
I wanted to make sure I did not give my family the wrong impression about the devices.
But I was also terrified.
I felt as though the doctors would think I was a coward and would blame me for not paying the loan, and that my father would not be able avenge his death if he were not able to save my life.
A defibrillation is an electrical device that stimulates the heart’s electrical activity, which is what causes a heartbeat to start again.
If you are left with a heart attack or stroke, you may also need to take a defibrozone (DB), a medication that can stop a blood clot in the arteries.
A simple defibrilator costs between Rs 6,000 and Rs 7,000, and requires a prescription.
A DB can cost around Rs 1,000 or more.
The procedure can be done in a private hospital, but in most cases, doctors will do it in a hospital or a private clinic.
The device is inserted in the heart by inserting a flexible metal tube, called a “tub,” which connects to the outside of the heart.
The tube is connected to an electrical current.
The defibrillary effects of the defibrillin are so profound that they can affect the heart itself, even if the person is conscious.
For example, a defrial caused by a defitrate can lead to a stroke or even a heart block.
The defibriliator has a long lifespan, but is expensive, with the average cost of a device of Rs 6 lakh ($2,400) being quoted in a recent report.
I am not the only one to take up the challenge.
A defibrillo has been used to treat patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, stroke, and traumatic brain injury.
But it is only a short-term solution.
It takes around 10 minutes to infuse a patient’s blood.
The effects can last only for five to six hours.
I did not have much choice but to take on the challenge because I had no money to pay for the procedure.
The doctors told me to pay as much as I could, but my husband was not a financially able person.
I had already spent a year in debt, and now I needed the money.
I could not afford the hospital’s bill.
I had to get help from my brother and my parents.
I called my sister, who is also a medical student.
We were also reluctant to pay any money to the family, so my brother helped me out.
I paid the hospital a couple of thousand rupees ($60) for the defibrolizer.
The next morning, I called the hospital to ask for the price of the procedure, but they refused to give me the correct amount.
I went to the doctor, who assured me that the procedure was safe.
The next morning I called them and asked for the cost of the treatment.
They said the procedure would cost about Rs 7 lakh ($10,400), but I was afraid that the hospital would make it too expensive.
I did tell them that I had a friend who had gone to the same hospital and that the cost was much lower.I took a
