‘It’s a sad day’: Doctors and parents mourning the death of teen who died from COVID-19

A 17-year-old student died in a Florida hospital from COH-1.
The boy died Thursday after doctors said he had the virus and could not recover from his condition.
“This is a sad and difficult day for us all,” Dr. Scott Stahl, the chief medical officer for the Florida Department of Health, said at a news conference.
“He was a bright young man who loved to play sports and who loved music.
He loved the outdoors and enjoyed his friendship with friends.
He was the epitome of a good, kind, caring and loving person.
He leaves behind a sister, a girlfriend and a mother.
He left behind his friends, family and friends and our hearts are broken for them.” “
We will never forget him.
He left behind his friends, family and friends and our hearts are broken for them.”
On Tuesday, Stahl and other officials were still trying to determine what caused the boy to lose consciousness and fall into a coma.
A preliminary autopsy found he died from acute respiratory distress.
The Broward County Medical Examiner’s Office said the boy had been exposed to the virus while traveling to Florida from a friend’s home in Florida, where the boy lives.
The CDC and other health officials said it was unclear whether the boy contracted the virus from other travelers or from a close contact.
“It’s hard to know the extent of the risk that the child may have had, but this is a serious and preventable condition,” said Dr. Gregory Clark, the acting chief medical examiner.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says the virus is not contagious if the person who has the virus does not have symptoms of the virus.
He said people should not get close to the child who fell ill because he or she may not have the virus, which is known as COVID.
Clark also said the CDC is urging people to stay away from any family members who may be affected by the boy’s illness.
The hospital said Thursday that the boy is in stable condition.
