When is it okay to dry eye?

When is dry eye not okay?
It’s a very personal question.
The answer depends on your individual skin condition, the length of your eye, how dry your eye is and the type of product you’re using.
“It depends on how sensitive your skin is,” Dr Hwang said.
“If it’s just a thin coating of moisture and there’s a lot of moisture in your eye then it’s not going to be ok.”
She suggested using moisturisers and creams that are good for your eye as much as products that help dry skin.
Dr Hwang recommends using an eye mask or a mask containing the following ingredients: Oxygenated vegetable glycerin: a thickener that helps with the dryness of the eye.
Water, glycerol, propylene glycol, glyceryl stearate, glycereth-26, carnauba wax, sodium lauryl sulfate, fragrance: from a combination of these ingredients.
Mint oil: used as a stabiliser.
Sodium hyaluronate: helps to keep your eye dry.
Hydrogenated vegetable oil: a good ingredient that can be added to make your eye feel softer and healthier.
Fragrance: from fragrance oils, essential oils and essential oils.
Sunscreen: sunscreen that can prevent damage to your eyes.
Dry eye treatment: this is a drying spray that helps dry your eyes out.
If your eye needs some light treatment, it can be applied to the outside of your eyelids.
You can use a brush or cotton pad to apply the product, and if you don’t have a dry eye, just wipe away any excess.
Dr Hung said that the best time to use dry eye treatments is when your eyelid is very dry.
“For those who don’t need to use a lot, this is probably the best thing to do,” she said.
What to do if you have dry eye:If you have no dry eye or you’re experiencing dry eye symptoms, you should talk to your doctor.
“Try using a moisturiser to get the moisture to come back into your eye,” Dr Goh said.
“If you can get the dry eye to disappear, it may be worth getting a treatment to dry out the eyelid again,” Dr Koon said.
If your dry eye is persistent, you may need to treat it with a light eye cream.
